Synopsis

After a shipwreck, stalwart pooch Benji is stranded in the wilderness and navigates through unfamiliar terrain to get back to civilization. But during his adventures, the resourceful canine takes time out to "mother" a couple of orphaned cougar cubs. When he discovers a wolf is after the cubs for a quick and easy meal, the magnanimous mutt tries to steer the hungry beast away from his charges, heroically putting his own life on the line.
