Synopsis

The Far Country (1954) box art Jimmy Stewart and director Anthony Mann team up once again on this Western with a Yukon setting. Stewart drives a herd of cattle north on an arduous, dangerous trek to Alaska, hoping to cash in on the Klondike gold rush. But when he reaches his destination, the payoff for his blood, sweat and tears is more blood -- a dastardly double-cross.
