Synopsis

Brideshead Revisited (2008) box art Impressionable Charles Ryder (Matthew Goode) becomes enthralled with the lifestyle of effete Oxford schoolmate Sebastian Flyte (Ben Whishaw) after spending the summer holiday at his patrician family's well-appointed estate, Brideshead Castle. During the course of two world wars, Charles is drawn into their self-indulgent world while falling in love with Sebastian's sister (Hayley Atwell) in this big-screen adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's novel.
