Synopsis
Hailed as a latter-day Charlie Chaplin, Norman Wisdom stars as Norman Pitkin, a hapless butcher's assistant. While waiting for his boss to have a watch he swallowed surgically removed, Norman causes a ruckus in the hospital and is forcibly ejected. But more than just his boss's health is at stake: Norman promised a hospitalized little girl he'd visit her again, and he resorts to a series of insane stunts to get back inside and keep his word.
