Synopsis
Acidly witty black comedy about two unemployed actors, fuelled by booze and drugs, who leave the squalor of their London flat for a break in the country - where even more trouble awaits them. The rural haven, owned by Withnail's well-to-do Uncle Monty, falls far short of their expectations - as does the hapless Uncle Monty.
