Synopsis
Beloved Brit comedians Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise parlay their television success into this riotous big-screen debut that spoofs the espionage genre. Ernie Sage (Wise) is a pen-pusher with Britain's MI5 who inadvertently learns of a plot by an enemy agency. Undercover as the recently deceased Major Cavendish and assisted by a Spanish café owner (Morecambe), the enthusiastic Sage attempts to thwart the assassination of a Russian ballerina.
