Synopsis

Hangman's Knot (1952) box art Randolph Scott stars as the leader of a band of Confederate soldiers who have become separated from their military brothers and discover, while attempting to steal some Union gold, that the Civil War is over and their side lost. They ambush a stagecoach station and consider their options, but as they wait, a Union nurse (Donna Reed) who's among their prisoners tries to rally everyone to fight. How will the soldiers find their way out?
