Synopsis

Saturn 3 (1980) box art Stanley Donen (Singin' in the Rain) changes direction here with a three-character sci-fi thriller set in the rings of Saturn. Kirk Douglas and Farrah Fawcett play environmental scientists (and lovers) who are developing food for consumption on Earth from their Saturn space station. The couple's troubles begin when a crazed scientist (Harvey Keitel) arrives and turns loose his 8-foot-tall robot on them. Novelist Martin Amis wrote the screenplay.
