Synopsis
Having already made Attack of the 50ft Woman, former Oscar-winning art director Nathan "Jerry" Juran tried for the same heights, metaphorically speaking, with this charming and enjoyable fairy tale. Juran is reunited with Kerwin Mathews, his star in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and succeeds in creating a genuinely original romp for children, though some youngsters may be frightened by the scarier moments. Incidentally, on reissue the title lost its "Jack" and songs were bizarrely added to the soundtrack.
