Synopsis

Pot o' Gold (1941) box art To promote their bandleader buddy, Jimmy Haskel (James Stewart) and his sweetheart, Molly McCorkle (Paulette Goddard), devise a can't-miss gimmick to keep radio listeners tuned in. James Roosevelt, son of Franklin D. Roosevelt, produced this tuneful 1941 comedy, which is based on a cash-giveaway radio show. Horace Heidt and His Musical Knights are featured in several numbers, including a lavish showstopper at a country club.
