Synopsis
This compilation of footage spread across four Newport Folk Festivals captures an art form in transition, with music from artists as diverse as Donovan, Johnny Cash and the Georgia Island Sea Singers. Tracks include "If I Had a Hammer" by Peter, Paul and Mary; "Deep Blue Sea" by Pete Seeger; "Lordy, Lordy" by Odetta; "Turn, Turn, Turn" by Judy Collins; "Tambourine Man" by Bob Dylan; and "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" by Joan Baez and Peter Yarrow.
