Synopsis

Although he's charged with clearing shell-shocked soldiers to return to active duty, Capt. Josiah J. Newman (Gregory Peck) is keenly aware that some of them simply aren't ready. But the neuropsychiatrist's caution doesn't sit well with his superiors. Tony Curtis, Angie Dickinson, Robert Duvall, Eddie Albert and Bobby Darin round out the all-star ensemble cast in this World War II-era drama that was filmed in the 1960s.
