Synopsis

Three Coins in the Fountain (1954) box art Three American women (Dorothy McGuire, Jean Peters and Maggie McNamara) pin their hopes for love on wishes they make as they toss coins into the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome. Their wishes come true ... but only in a way that writer John H. Secondari (who wrote the novel on which the film is based) could have imagined! Frank Sinatra croons the title tune, which won an Oscar for Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn in 1954. Jean Negulesco directs.
