Synopsis
When vaguely discontented Iowa housewife Francesca Johnson (Meryl Streep) meets National Geographic shutterbug Robert Kincaid (Clint Eastwood), what begins as a guarded friendship soon erupts into an intense affair that rekindles Francesca's forgotten passions.
