Synopsis

Rio (2011) box art Animated family adventure. Domesticated macaw Blu has his tranquil life turned upside down when he is taken to Brazil by his owner to mate in attempt to save the species. Being the last remaining blue macaw, Blu is highly valued and, while in Rio, smugglers steal him and his new female friend to sell on the black market. However, his new mate is not ready to spend her life in a cage and the pair stage a daring escape. With the voices of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway and Jermaine Clement.
