Synopsis
Indian scout Calamity Jane (Doris Day) is as hard-riding and handy with a gun as any man in Deadwood. When best buddy Wild Bill Hickock (Howard Keel) bestows his affections on a more feminine member of their show troupe, the friends begin to feud ... and then fall in love. This spirited musical from director David Butler features the Academy Award-winning song "Secret Love," and also earned Oscar nods for Best Score and Best Sound.
