Synopsis

In this smart, swiftly paced futuristic thriller, a corporate executive is "floated" into another man's body to attend an important meeting (there wasn't time for air travel), then finds his own stand-in is a terrorist with a plan. More creative than the Face/Off,Total Recall premise suggests, this is nicely performed by Kyle MacLachlan as the initial body swap and Stephen Baldwin as the short-life clone acquired as a means of escape. Although the action scenes are unremarkable, there's some clever ideas mined from the body-swap scenario, as well as a droll injection of black humour in the more serious moments.
