Synopsis
A swashbuckler about a French adventurer (Fernando Lamas) who goes to India in search of a jewel fit for the crown of Louis XIV. There he finds a big, fat, sparkly diamond attached to Maya, queen of Nepal (Arlene Dahl), who is herself attached to the Great Mogul, a jealous cove played by Sheldon Leonard. As usual with these essays in exotica, there's a lot of silly dialogue, lavish costumes, lascivious dance routines and the odd man-eating tiger prowling the Burbank backlot. Lamas and Dahl married shortly after the film was completed.
