Synopsis

Unscrupulous Bel-Air millionaire Sam (Danny DeVito) plans to murder his shrewish wife, Barbara (Bette Midler). But when he arrives home to do the deed, he finds she's been kidnapped. The kidnappers (Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater) ask for $500,000 in ransom or they'll kill her. Sam, naturally, believes this to be the answers to his prayers. But Barbara and her kidnappers have other plans. Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker co-direct.
