Synopsis

Marlon Brando made his stunning cinematic debut in this drama as an ex-soldier physically and emotionally wounded by the menace of war. Laid up at a veteran's hospital, he and the men around him battle the bitterness that threatens to engulf them. Co-starring Richard Erdman and Virginia Farmer, The Men was nominated for an Oscar for Best Writing and was named by the National Board of Review as one of the 10 best films of 1950.
