Synopsis

After spending years away from Metropolis, Superman (Brandon Routh) returns to find a city that's managed to survive without him. And much to his chagrin, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) has moved on to another man (James Marsden), while archenemy Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) is developing a new plan to rule the world. Instead of rebooting the franchise, director Bryan Singer continues the story told by Richard Donner in Superman and Superman II.
